In cooperation with the Institute for Social Protection of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the South Backa District, the Centre Living Upright held a total of 10 workshops for the representatives of 10 Soth Backa District municipalities. Thier topic was "Accessibility and Design for All".

These workshops were held as part of the project ’Accessibility and Tourism’. They took place in Bački Petrovac, Temerin, Bačka Palanka, Bečej, Beočin, Srbobran, Novi Sad, Titel, Zabalj and Sremski Karlovci.

The main objective of these workshops which were attended by 173 participants from 10 municipalities of the South Backa District was to increase the level of information of the representatives of these municipalities on the concept of  accessibility, to analyse the current situation and to make an overview of the potentials the municipalities have for the implementaiton of the accessibility concept.

All the participants have been actively involved in the workshops and are very positively oriented as regards the topic of accessibility. It was concluded that  the concept of accessibility is a necessary one and that it could be implemented and included into daily activities in the and future municipal projects under the condition that the level of knowledge is increased and that counseling servicers are provided for the municipalities.
