Personal Assistance
The Centre initiated mainstreaming of the personal assistance service for disabled persons into the Decision on Social Protection of the City of Novi Sad. This process lasted 15.5 years. Embarked co-financing of the service began in 2020. Since June 2021, the optimal level of this support has been co-financed, with the City financing only the gross costs of an hour of delivered assistance with ed funds, while the indirect costs of the service are co-financed with grants instead of allocated direct funds. All costs that the municipalities and cities in which the Center organized the assistance did not or do not cover, the Centre covers with donations and personal participation of PA users and its members.
